Shilpapaddiam, an international centre for sculpture and residency programs announces its first Biennale in New Delhi.The first Biennale exhibition titled ‘Artequalated’ comprising of the works of ten eminent and emerging artists from all over India, will open on 17th August 2007 at the Open Palm Court Gallery, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi at 6.30 pm. Reputed educationist and former director of Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, Professor Suresh Sharma, will inaugurate the function by lighting the lamp at twilight.Participating artists are Sukeshan Kanga, Benitha Perciyal, Soorej Kolleri, Binu Bhaskar, Neha Sarai, Vasudha Thozhur, V.Anamika, Vijay Bagodi, Jyothi Basu and Valsan Koorma Kolleri.The exhibition will be on view till 24th August 2007. The show will later travel to Mumbai and Kolkata.
